Project Globes by Nystrom & Co. April 17, 2010

Posted by globecollectors in Uncategorized.

Globes without words. Several styles of these “blank” globes were made for use in educational settings. Some have chalkboard-like surfaces so students can write on the globe, showing their knowledge of geography. This 16-inch globe was made by A.J. Nystrom & Co. between the mid-1940s and mid-1960s.
